On August 13, 2020, Ny'Angleo Amir-Cortez Hodges, a 2-year-old boy from Minneapolis, MN, tragically died after being shot inside an apartment in Brooklyn Park. Initially, police were searching for a 20-year-old man seen running from the Huntington Place apartments, but this lead turned out to be false. Five adults were present in the apartment at the time of the incident, and they provided conflicting statements to investigators.
