On a cold January day in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the life of 11-year-old JaCorbie Rashad Wallace, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short. On January 30, 2021, a relative concerned for the well-being of JaCorbie's mother, D'Zondria Deanternette Wallace, requested a police welfare check at her home. When officers arrived, D'Zondria assured them everything was fine. However, the peace was short-lived. Soon after the police departed, a horrific scene unfolded within the residence.
