On the night of March 29, 2021, the vibrant Dinkytown neighborhood of Minneapolis was shattered by the sound of nearly a dozen gunshots. Aries Trayvon Hubbard, a 17-year-old Black male, was fatally wounded in the incident, which unfolded around 11 p.m. outside the Burrito Loco restaurant on 13th Avenue Southeast.
