In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 21, 2023, the life of 49-year-old Omar Lamont Brown, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Police responded to a ShotSpotter notification just after 5:30 a.m. and discovered Brown unresponsive in an alley on the 3500 block of Penn Avenue North.
