In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Minneapolis, the life of 19-year-old Keshaun James Leuzzo-Mapp, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On April 20, 2021, at approximately 2:16 a.m., he was fatally shot inside a residence on the 5100 block of Dupont Avenue North in the city's Lind-Bohanon neighborhood. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner later confirmed that Leuzzo-Mapp died from a single gunshot wound to the torso and ruled his death a homicide.
