Andrew DeJon Davis, a 29-year-old resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota, tragically lost his life on August 27, 2020. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on the 3500 block of Chicago Avenue South. According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office, Davis was shot multiple times and was subsequently transported to Hennepin County Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after 5 a.m. that day.
