In the early moments of a Minneapolis morning, the life of a 19-year-old Black male named Lamontay Giovanni Brown was tragically cut short. On June 25, 2022, shortly after midnight, the sound of gunfire pierced the air near the intersection of Lowry and Aldrich avenues in the northern part of the city.
