Andre L. Bunton, aged 37, was fatally shot on July 19, 2013, while sitting in his vehicle in Chicago's South Loop neighborhood. The shooting occurred late at night near East 16th Place. Bunton, who was the brother-in-law of Illinois State Senator Napoleon Harris, was struck by multiple gunshots, one of which fatally hit him in the chest.
