In the crisp autumn air of November 18, 2022, the life of 17-year-old Syoka Siko, a Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in a Minneapolis suburb. A promising student-athlete, Siko was known for his talent on the basketball court, having been a member of Park Center High School's state championship team before transferring to Andover High School for his senior year.
