On August 6, 2013, Demetrius Cooper, aged 35, was tragically killed in a double shooting in Chicago's West Pullman neighborhood. The incident took place early in the morning on the 100 block of East 120th Street. Demetrius and his older brother, Leandre Cooper, were both shot while sitting in a parked vehicle. The shooting occurred around 3:40 a.m., and both men succumbed to their injuries on the scene.
