Tiffany Davenport-Ray, aged 42, was tragically killed on May 25, 2014, in Topeka, Kansas. The incident occurred just hours after she married Melvin Ray. The couple was driving away from their wedding reception when an SUV overtook their car and opened fire. Tiffany, who was still wearing her wedding dress, was struck in the head by a bullet and died at the scene. Melvin Ray, who was driving, was unharmed and managed to return fire with a pistol retrieved from the car's glove compartment.
