In a tragic turn of events on a summer evening in Wichita, Kansas, a dispute over a pit bull escalated into a fatal shooting, claiming the life of 41-year-old Hispanic male, Roman Padilla. The incident unfolded on June 11, 2015, at a residence in the 500 block of South Edwards, where Padilla was shot and later died at a local hospital. His beloved companion dog, Buddy Wilson, was also shot and killed during the confrontation.
