Death by Force

In the late spring of 2017, a tragedy befell a Hispanic/Latino male teenager from Topeka, Kansas. Angel Quinones, age 16, was fatally shot on the evening of May 31, 2017. The incident occurred in the central part of the city, in the 700 block of SW 16th Street. Following the shooting, he was transported by a private vehicle to Stormont Vail Hospital, suffering from what would prove to be a mortal wound.
