In the morning hours of November 3, 2017, a young Black/African American man named Darrian D. Stevens, aged 20, was fatally shot in Kansas City, Kansas. He was behind the wheel of his maroon Ford Fusion, waiting at a red light near 78th Street and Interstate 70, when another car pulled alongside him.
