Emmitt Lee Olson, a 40-year-old White / Caucasian male, was shot and killed on April 17, 2018, in Wichita, Kansas. The incident occurred in a house located in the 2900 block of South Sayles in the Planeview neighborhood, an area known to law enforcement for drug-related activities. On the afternoon of the shooting, more than six people were present in the home, which police had previously visited in connection with drug use.
