On a tragic evening in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of 23-year-old Jocelyn Ybarra was cut short. On June 2, 2018, she was discovered deceased inside her vehicle in the 1900 block of North 41st Terrace, the victim of a fatal gunshot wound. Compounding the tragedy, it was later revealed that Jocelyn was 12 weeks pregnant at the time of her death, a heartbreaking detail for a young woman who had always dreamed of being a mother.
