In the summer of 2018, the life of Michael Douglas, a 69-year-old White male, came to a tragic end in Leavenworth, Kansas. On June 13th of that year, Douglas, a veteran, was found in the parking lot of a local VA hospital. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
