In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 5, 2019, the life of Teddy Kleiner, a 45-year-old Caucasian male from Topeka, Kansas, was tragically cut short. The stillness of the night in North Topeka was broken by the sound of gunfire, an event that would leave a family grieving and a community searching for answers. Responding to a call shortly after 2 a.m., Topeka Police officers arrived in the 500 block of N.E. Paramore to a grim scene.
