On the first day of the new year, January 1, 2020, the life of 22-year-old Alicia Lyn Roman was tragically cut short in Wichita, Kansas. Inside a room at the Hotel at WaterWalk, located in the 700 block of South Main, a violent encounter unfolded that would leave two people dead.
