In the early morning hours of February 16, 2020, tragedy struck in Wichita, Kansas, when 35-year-old James Winston III, a Black/African American male, was fatally shot in his apartment located at 1719 S. Glenn. A father of six, Winston was reportedly waiting for a friend to arrive when the fatal incident occurred.
