In the pre-dawn hours of July 13, 2020, a disturbance shattered the quiet of an Olathe, Kansas, neighborhood. Responding to the call at approximately 2:20 a.m. in the 15900 block of West 127th Street, police officers made a grim discovery. Near an apartment door at the Wingfield Apartments, they found the body of 41-year-old Lawrence Dale Flaxbeard, a White/Caucasian male.
