On a fall morning in Topeka, Kansas, the life of 38-year-old Christopher McMillon, a Black/African American male, came to a tragic end. On October 3, 2020, police officers were dispatched to his residence near Southwest 3rd Street and Southwest Polk Street to conduct a welfare check. Inside, they made a grim discovery; McMillon was found deceased, having suffered from apparent gunshot wounds.
