In the spring of 1979, the disappearance of a young boy cast a dark shadow over the city of Topeka, Kansas. Twelve-year-old John 'Jack' Hanrahan, a White male, was last seen on May 20, 1979, at Gage Bowl in Topeka. A frantic search for the boy ensued, gripping the community with fear and uncertainty.
