On the night of May 24, 2021, the life of 33-year-old Hispanic male Eraclio Hernandez Jr. was tragically cut short in Garden City, Kansas. Just after 11 p.m., officers from the Garden City Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 1200 block of North 9th Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hernandez in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound.
