On a late Friday night in Kansas City, Kansas, the life of Sherman Tisdale, a 30-year-old Black man, was tragically cut short on July 30, 2021. Responding to a call, police officers made a grim discovery in the backyard of a residence located in the area of N. 72nd Street and Splitlog Circle. There, they found Tisdale, who had sustained apparent gunshot wounds.
