On a tragic day in April of 2022, the life of a 27-year-old Caucasian female named Satha E. Baum of Topeka, Kansas, was cut short. On April 10th, while driving westbound on Interstate 70 near Solomon, Kansas, Baum sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The Dickinson County Sheriff's Office received a report of a gunshot victim and responded to the scene at a Dollar General in Solomon.

Emergency medical services arrived and transported Baum to Salina Regional Health Center. Despite their efforts ...
