In the early hours of May 25, 2025, the life of 20-year-old Naomi Oglesby, a Black/African American female from Wichita, Kansas, was tragically cut short. At approximately 4:28 a.m., police responded to a shooting in the 700 block of South Laura. Upon arrival, they discovered Oglesby suffering from a gunshot wound.
