In the early morning hours of July 2, 2022, the life of 43-year-old Saren Negrete-Perez, a Caucasian female from California, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter in a rural area of Sedgwick County, Kansas. Just after 5 a.m., sheriff's deputies responded to a shooting call in the 4300 block of South Rock Road, an area situated between Wichita and Derby. Upon arrival, they discovered a grim scene.
