Isaiah C. Smith, a 15-year-old student at Fremont High School in Oakland, California, was tragically shot to death on November 29, 2014. The incident occurred in broad daylight around 11:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of Trask Street, not far from his home. Isaiah was walking with two other youths when he was shot. Despite being critically injured, he managed to run a short distance before collapsing. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
