On a tragic Saturday evening, October 6, 2018, the life of 33-year-old Kristin Florio-Gile, a Caucasian female and devoted mother of six, was violently cut short in Derby, Kansas. She had been desperately trying to escape an abusive marriage and had recently moved with her children into her parents' home.
