Upon their arrival, officers heard an additional gunshot from inside the house.
Inside the home, police discovered the bodies of Cynthia Karmon and a 47-year-old

Cynthia, who was born in Naples, Italy, had lived in Rhode Island before settling in Kansas. She was known for her fun-loving and spunky personality, and she had a career as a truck driver. She was a beloved family member and friend, remembered for her dependability and her ability to bring joy to any situation.
