Cynthia Cyndie Karmon, a 51-year-old Caucasian female, was killed in what police have described as a murder-suicide on September 4, 2023. The incident occurred at a home in the 1500 block of East McClelland Drive in Derby, Kansas. Authorities were dispatched to the residence around 1:30 a.m. after receiving reports of gunshots. Upon their arrival, officers heard an additional gunshot from inside the house.
