In the early morning hours of Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, a sense of holiday anticipation was shattered by a grim discovery in Marysville, Kansas. Jennifer Brown, a 57-year-old Caucasian woman, was found deceased in her home on Granite Road. The events leading to this tragic finding began to unfold at approximately 2:30 a.m. when her husband, Gerald L.
Brown, placed a 911 call requesting medical assistance for his wife.
Upon the arrival of Marshall County Sheriff's deputies at the residence, they discovered Jennifer Brown with what appeared to be fatal gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene, turning a call for medical help into a homicide investigation.
