In the spring of 1993, a palpable sense of fear gripped the neighborhoods of Mount Pleasant and Columbia Heights in Washington, D.C. A series of seemingly random and unprovoked shootings had left residents on edge, wary of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. This wave of violence was the work of a man who would come to be known as the 'Shotgun Stalker,' and his reign of terror would tragically claim the life of Elizabeth 'Bessie' Hutson, a 28-year-old female resident of the community. ...
