On a spring morning in the nation's capital, the life of a young man was cut short by violence. In the early hours of Saturday, May 29, 2021, officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the sound of gunshots in the 1300 block of Adams Street, Northeast. Upon their arrival at approximately 4:15 a.m., they discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. D.C.
