In the autumn of 2016, a domestic dispute in Washington, D.C. ended in tragedy, claiming the life of 33-year-old Carl Holloway. On Monday, November 14, 2016, Holloway, a resident of the city, was fatally shot. The incident that led to his death involved his own father, a retired D.C. police lieutenant.
