Tony Lamont Payne Jr., aged 36, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on August 27, 2018, in the 3900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, Washington, DC. Payne was discovered by police less than an hour into the day and was pronounced dead shortly after. His death was one of several homicides that occurred in Washington, DC, during August 2018.
