In the spring of 2021, a Sunday evening in Northeast Washington, D.C. was shattered by violence that claimed the life of a young man. On May 2nd, in the 600 block of Edgewood Street, Northeast, 20-year-old Delano Harris was shot. The report of the shooting brought members of the Fifth District of the Metropolitan Police Department to the scene at approximately 8:38 p.m.
