In the early moments of a Saturday morning in Washington, D.C., on October 6, 2018, the life of 26-year-old Marquis Jones was tragically cut short. Just after midnight, gunshots echoed in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, SE. When police arrived, they found Jones suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
