On January 5, 2020, at approximately 5:27 am, 26-year-old Xavier Tate was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside a residence on the 1400 block of 3rd Street, SW, Washington, DC. He was a resident of Northeast, DC. Despite efforts to save him, Tate was pronounced dead at the scene.
