In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in Southeast Washington, D.C., a tragedy unfolded that would cut short the life of a 28-year-old woman. On March 25, 2020, at approximately 3:17 a.m., Kriston Robinson was fatally shot while sitting inside a white Kia Forte in the 1600 block of 19th Street, SE.
