In the early hours of a Tuesday morning in Washington, D.C., the life of 32-year-old Devin Denny was tragically cut short. On July 5, 2022, at approximately 12:25 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Yuma Street, Southeast. Inside a residence, they discovered Mr. Denny, a male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Emergency medical services arrived at the scene, but tragically, they found no signs of life.
Devin Denny was officially pronounced dead, and his body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. At the time of his death, he was listed as having no fixed address. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating his death as a homicide.
