In the early morning hours of a summer Thursday in Washington, D.C., the life of 26-year-old Rasheed Cureton, a male resident of the city, was tragically cut short. On July 28, 2022, at approximately 12:42 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 4300 block of Livingston Road, Southeast. Upon their arrival, they discovered a grim scene within the stairwell of an apartment building. Cureton was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
