Do you know who murdered Dontay Cunningham? In the late evening hours of Saturday, June 10, 2006, a burst of gunfire shattered the night in the 1300 block of Morris Road, SE in Washington, D.C. When the chaos subsided, 23-year-old Dontay Lamar Cunningham, a Black male, was found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. The Metropolitan Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 10:53 p.m., but it was too late to save the young man's life. His sudden and violent death left a permanent void in the lives of his family and friends.
