In the pre-dawn hours of September 7, 2015, a violent encounter in a Las Vegas parking lot claimed the life of 37-year-old Iris Rene Spiller, an African American female. The tragic events unfolded at approximately 12:02 a.m. at an extended stay apartment complex situated in the 5600 block of South Boulder Highway.
