In the pre-dawn hours of November 22, 2014, Cassandra Rosete, a 27-year-old Caucasian female, made a fateful decision to walk to her job at Sapphire Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas. Her BMW had been giving her trouble, leaking coolant, so she set out on the two-mile journey on foot around 5 a.m. Her boyfriend had intended to walk with her, but went back inside their apartment to grab warmer clothing.
