In a quiet apartment in southwest Las Vegas, the lives of 21-year-old Caucasian female Sydney Elysse Land and her boyfriend, Nehemiah "Neo" Kauffman, were brought to a violent end. On October 27, 2016, a friend, concerned after not hearing from Kauffman, discovered the couple's bodies inside Land's apartment on South Hualapai Way. Both had been shot.
