On February 20, 2024, Jessica Russo, a 36-year-old mother of two, was found deceased in her Las Vegas home from multiple gunshot wounds. Her mother, Laura Castelle, discovered her body after Russo failed to pick up her children from school and was unreachable. Castelle recounted the harrowing moment, stating, "I had my boyfriend kick the door open, and she was dead on the floor."
