On October 27, 2016, a concerned friend discovered a tragic scene in a southwest Las Vegas apartment. Twenty-year-old Nehemiah Neo Kauffman, a Black / African American male, and his 21-year-old girlfriend, Sydney Land, were found deceased inside their residence at the Union Apartments on South Hualapai Way.
