On the evening of January 18, 2017, the life of 33-year-old Myron Manghum, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a Las Vegas apartment. What began as an argument over drugs escalated into a violent double homicide that also claimed the life of 27-year-old Alyssa Velasco. A third individual was wounded in the altercation but managed to escape the apartment, leaving a trail of blood that would later guide police to the scene of the crime.
