Daniel Heintz, a 30-year-old man, was shot and killed during a gunfight on May 3, 2017, in Las Vegas. The altercation took place near an apartment complex, involving Heintz and another man, Kanan Traub, both rival drug dealers. The argument escalated when Traub opened fire, inadvertently wounding another individual, Shawn Todriquez’s girlfriend.
